Road debris accounts for a lot of different objects in the road. There could be construction debris, like metal panels that cover holes temporarily, but there is other debris, too. Branches, trash, and even some things that should never be in the road like random metal pieces, can all end up in the main lane of travel. Each can do their little bit of damage and if your tires are already in bad shape, that damage might be catastrophic.

If you’re one of those folks who accelerates quickly, brakes late, and basically corners like you’re on a track, you’re not doing your tires any favors at all. Easing up just a little bit can help your tires to live a slightly longer life.
